Music First:
* Neil Young's "Harvest Moon"
* Bruce Springsteen's "Streets of Fire"
* Jackson Browne's "Linda Paloma"
* 21 Pilots' "Lane Boy"
* Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" and "Redemption Song"
* Jack Johnson's "Cookie Jar"
* Leon Bridges' "Coming Home"
For various reasons, I think these are all worthy of listening to as examples of music that is good in melody and message.
Memory Second:
I haven't been in touch with Mark for a long time. But my memories of him include the following -- they are vivid and easily recalled:
* Incredible athlete--running that ball wearing the maroon and gold of Loyola
* Laid back and chill
* Awesome smile
* Witty and intelligent sense of humor
* "Wicked SMAAT"
* Intense
* Part of that over-achieving St. Norberts crowd (you know who you are Billy K. and Chris C. and thre rest!)
* Always up for a good summer party on the North Shore
* One more time on the smile...
My condolences to the Rollins family and both Mark's long-time and more contemporary group of friends, neighbors and colleagues.
Tony
